First there is sound, distant sound

The murmuring sound of the crowd

Louder and louder till everything drowns

Now there are drums, that herald the setting of reason’s sun

Then there are lights,

Falling like stars in the sacred night

Now you will suffer for my love more than ever before

Let there be war

From a distance it resembles white hair flowing into the sky

The slug, the giant, the dirty device the men and the boys will die

The uncontrollable urge to take the one thing that your brother has

I am the source of this urge,

I am the curse,

This is a war universe

The promise of man, will lead you to hell

A hell in this world, the wages of sin

We cannot trust them, look at the signs

They are unlike us ready to strike us

Strike them first, burn everything clean

Cauterise their genes

Brushed by the wings of madness

My tears burn flesh

My gaze is death and my heart is full of those tears

I am the snake that appears

Coiled around the hearts of men

The phosphorous fang

The bodies that hang like withering fruit on the stem

The hero, the butcher, amnesia stains the future

undead relive the dying

Compassion’s waning flame, forever your sons will do the same

Let there be war

Cut off from earthly ties, and the interest of humans

Consult the sky for guidance, the act consumed fanatic

Reason and conscience wholly silenced

In men that know no rules, no ties but those of their order

No duty but to their cause and to extend it’s venal power

In a sleep state to their end, an end that justifies their means

An end that multiplies like dreams

of breaking limbs and burning screams and virgins bathed in blood and wine

Blindly obey the grand design

These streams of honey, burning flesh

The lips of death, all is regret

Let there be war

know this is the order of the earth

know this is the breath behind the word
