Self Freshness - Whitewoods

Good afternoon.

Provost Houlihan, thank you for that warm introduction.

Chairman Tully, members of the Board of Trustees, President Dugan,

distinguished guests, members of the administration, faculty and staff,

and fellow graduates.

I’m honored to be here today to represent the winter

class of 2016

So first off, congratulations!

Today, we flip the page and mark an end to another chapter of

Our story.

As I look out into the crowd before me, I sense a wave of emotions

from everyone present.

For family and friends, the sense of pride you have in

your graduate’s accomplishments is unmeasurable.

For faculty, another class you

have successfully educated and mentored throughout our time

Yet nothing — nothing — can top the feelings that we graduates have right now

at this moment.

We made it here in one piece.

We survived all those exams,

lectures and research papers that we once thought would never finish

It all started a couple years back when we opened our acceptance letters and

decided to attend St. Francis College.

The small college of big dreams.

The college that has granted all of us amazing opportunities and opened doors

for us in numerous ways

St. Francis, a liberal arts college, has given us the tools we need to go

forward and succeed.

St. Francis not only prepared all of us students to pass

our GMATS, GREs, CPAs, or any other obstacle we will face after this day,

but gave us confidence to touch the lives of others and help those when needed

The qualities we have gained throughout our years here have given us an

advantage after we leave this campus.

We are part of a very small percentage of

college graduates who have been exposed to more than just our textbooks.

Molded into well-rounded and confident individuals we are ready to start the

next page of the new chapter of our story

I’ve been working on two films simultaneously, and… so… uh…

The Ultimation is giving me a lot of… breathing room from… A Midsummer

Night’s, going from, uh, black and white to color film.

And, um…

y-y'know, a couple of the page reads, we read back and forth, and that-that's

healthy.

Um, keep a certain freshness… So…

will return!

and, y’know, the legend has it that those… young filmmakers who grew up in

the age of television have been trapped into… these technological advances —

uh, it’s not something that interests me, personally, I think it’s wonderful —

Для мене честь бути тут сьогодні, щоб представити зиму

клас 2016

Тож по-перше, вітаємо!

Сьогодні ми перегортаємо сторінку й позначаємо кінець іншої глави

Наша історія.

Дивлячись у натовп переді мною, я відчуваю хвилю емоцій

від усіх присутніх.

Для сім’ї та друзів – почуття гордості

досягнення вашого випускника невимірні.

Для факультету інший клас ти

успішно навчали та наставляли протягом усього нашого часу

Але ніщо —ніщо — не може перевершити почуття, які зараз переживають у нас, випускників

Зараз.

Ми зробили це тут цілим.

Ми витримали всі ці іспити,

лекції та наукові роботи, які ми колись думали, що ніколи не закінчаться

Все почалося парку років тому, коли ми відкрили наші листи про прийняття та

вирішив навчати коледж Святого Франциска.

Маленький коледж великої мрії.

Коледж, який надав усім нам чудові можливості та відкрив двері

для нас кількома способами

Коледж вільних мистецтв Св. Франциска дав нам інструменти, які нам потрібні

вперед і досягай успіху.

Святий Франциск не лише підготував усіх нас, студентів, до здачі

наші GMATS, GRE, CPA або будь-які інші перешкоди, з якими ми стикаємося після цього дня,

але дає нам впевненість доторкнутися до життя інших і допомогти тим, коли це потрібно

Якості, які ми набули за роки роботи тут, дали нам

перевагу після того, як ми покинемо цей кампус.

Ми входимо до дуже невеликого відсотка

випускники коледжів, які знайомилися не тільки з нашими підручниками.

Ми готові розпочати роботу

Ніч, переходячи від чорно-білого до кольорового фільму.

І, гм…

Ви знаєте, пара сторінок читає, ми читаємо туди-сюди, і це-ось

здоровий.

Гм, зберігайте певну свіжість… Тож…

повернеться!

і, знаєте, легенда свідчить, що ті… молоді режисери, які виросли у

епоха телебачення опинилася в пастці… цих технологічних досягнень —

е, мене особисто це не цікавить, я вважаю, що це чудово —
