Down Where We Belong -

I see the way through the eyes of a winters night

There lies a path where the old trees sway

Through the eyes of winter

Here a solemn stillness holds in the deepening snow

I tread the earth where I must go

Down into the hollows, down where we belong

The ground comes alive — it opens up and through I follow

Down.

Follow the dreams to the dark to see where the lost be found

Drawn to their silent breath through a hole of decay

There lay a path, a path where the old trees sway

I trod the earth

I am the dweller on the threshold

Taking flight to return — return upon the world

Though I saw no sun

Glad did I live under the wide and misty sky

Securing my belief in the afterlife

Float into the depths, pulled to the core

I swore the ground alive

Through the roots of life ride the tides

Ride the tides!

The silence of the fallen glows in the afterlife

All is deceased, the spinning leaf will become another

Там лежить стежка, де колишуться старі дерева

Очами зими

Тут урочиста тиша тримається на снігу, що поглиблюється

Я топчу землю туди, куди повинен йти

Вниз, у западини, вниз, де ми належимо

Земля оживає — вона відкривається і через Я  слідую

Вниз.

Я бачив дорогу очима зимової ночі

Слідуйте за мріями до темряви, щоб побачити, де знайдено загублених

Притягнені до тихого дихання крізь отвір гниття

Там пролягала стежка, стежка, де колишуться старі дерева

Я ступав по землі

Я — мешканець на порогі

Політ, щоб повернутись — повернутися у світ

Хоча я не бачила сонця

Я радий, що жив під широким і туманним небом

Забезпечити віру в потойбічне життя

Плийте в глибину, витягнувши до ядра

Я живцем присягнув

Крізь коріння життя керуй припливами

Покатайтеся на припливах!

Вниз, у западини, вниз, де ми належимо

Тиша загиблих світиться в потойбічному світі

Земля оживає — вона відкривається і через Я  слідую

Вниз.

Там, де я належу

Усе померло, листочок, що крутиться, стане іншим
