The Dragonfly - Clutch

Could’ve been a swan on a glassy lake

Could’ve been a gull in a clipper’s wake

Could’ve been a ladybug on a windchime

But she was born a dragonfly

In the sun she warmed her wings

And listened to the cicadas sing

«The trees are all bending

Among the cloves, they drop their skin

«Beyond the hedgegrove

Over by the willows

Deep in the shadows»

Regeneration occurs at a furious speed

Beneath the white oak tree

And when the sun comes up

Moon buds fold up

Шкода подружжя Queen Mantis

Такий вмісний, але такий безголовий

Кеті нічого не робила, тільки тремтіла й плакала

Як і бабка

У тіні крутяться цигани

Серед гвоздики скидають шкірку

«За живоплотом

Над вербами

Глибоко в тіні»

Регенерація відбувається з шаленою швидкістю

Під білим дубом

А коли сонце зійде

Місячні бутони складаються вгору

На сонце вона зігріла свої крила

І послухав Обряди Весни

Весна

Це міг бути лебедь на скляному озері

Могла бути чайкою по кільовому сліду

Могла бути сонечкою на дзвінок вітру

Але вона народилася бабкою

На сонце вона зігріла свої крила

І слухав, як співає шадія

«Ніколи не бачив, але чув

Звучить як жорна, коли вони обертаються

Але з кожною хвилиною все голосніше і голосніше

А потім тиша і запах квітів».
